...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1215 AM MDT FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of northeast Colorado, including the following 
  counties, southeastern Logan, Phillips and northeastern Washington.

* WHEN...Until 1215 AM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

    - At 1041 PM MDT, Local law enforcement reported flooded
    roadways due to excessive rainfall. Minor flooding is
    ongoing. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.

    - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.2 inches are expected
    over the area.

    - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Holyoke, Haxtun, Paoli, Highland Center, Fairfield, St
    Petersburg, Lone Star, Burdett, Amherst, Pleasant Valley and
    Dailey.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.
