...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast and southern Florida, including the 
  following counties, in southeast Florida, Palm Beach. In southern 
  Florida, Hendry.

* WHEN...Until 500 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 423 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that the heavy rains
    has ended, but light to moderate rains will continue over the
    area which rainfall amounts up to 1 inch. Minor flooding is
    ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Clewiston and Lake Harbor.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law 
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National 
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
