...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 415 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Illinois, including the following 
  counties, Clay, Lawrence and Richland.

* WHEN...Until 415 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 113 PM CDT, Clay County emergency management reported
    heavy rain from thunderstorms resulting in several roadways
    in Clay County being covered in water, but no road closures
    due to flooding. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to
    begin shortly. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain has fallen or
    is expected to fall.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Olney, Flora, Lawrenceville, Sumner, Bridgeport, Louisville,
    Clay City, St. Francisville, Noble, Xenia, Parkersburg,
    Sailor Springs, Russellville, Olney Noble Airport,
    Lawrenceville Vincennes Airport, Claremont, Calhoun, Red
    Hills State Park, Mount Carmel Airport and Flora Municipal
    Airport.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
