...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 215 PM EDT /115 PM CDT/ 
THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive 
  rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of north central and northern Indiana, including 
  the following counties, in north central Indiana, Kosciusko. In 
  northern Indiana, Fulton IN, La Porte, Marshall, Pulaski, Starke 
  and White.

* WHEN...Until 215 PM EDT /115 PM CDT/.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is 
  occurring or is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1022 AM EDT /922 AM CDT, Emergency management and the
    public reported heavy rain in the advisory area. This is
    causing urban and small stream flooding. Rapid river and
    creek rises will cause additional flooding in the advisory
    area. Between 4 and 7.5 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Plymouth, Rochester, Knox, Winamac, Bourbon, Monon, North
    Judson, Argos, Culver, Mentone, Francesville, Medaryville, La
    Crosse, Pulaski, Walnut, Tippecanoe, Oak Grove, Ripley,
    Kewanna and Etna Green.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law 
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National 
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
