...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 315 AM EDT EARLY THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is 
  expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central Upper and western Upper Michigan, 
  including the following counties, in central Upper Michigan, 
  Baraga. In western Upper Michigan, Houghton and Ontonagon.

* WHEN...Until 315 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas and 
  rapid rises in small streams.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1202 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Between
    0.75 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Ontonagon, Porcupine Mountains State Park, Rockland, Mass
    City, Bruce Crossing, Nisula, Kenton, Silver City, Greenland,
    Norwich, Bob Lake, Winona, Victoria Dam, Fourteen Mile Point,
    Echo Lake, Twin Lakes, Trout Creek, Alston, Donken and Ewen.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

Campers and hikers should avoid streams or creeks.
