...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Michigan, including the following 
  counties, Genesee, Lapeer and Shiawassee.

* WHEN...Until 400 PM EDT.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 101 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated heavy rain associated with the remnants of Beryl.
    Minor flooding is ongoing in the advisory area. Up to 2
    inches of rain has fallen since 10 AM, on top of the 1 to 4
    inches observed before that.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
    the area through 4 PM. This additional rain will result in
    continued minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Flint, Owosso, Fenton, Lapeer, Flushing, Grand Blanc,
    Davison, Imlay City, Durand, Almont, Clio, Perry, Brown City,
    Laingsburg, North Branch, Columbiaville, New Lothrop, Burton,
    Swartz Creek and Hadley.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
