...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1130 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of northeast Missouri, including the following 
  counties, Clark and Scotland.

* WHEN...Until 1130 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not 
  be passable. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water. 
  It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to 
  work through local drainage systems in urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 931 AM CDT, The rain has ended across the area. Clark
    County sheriff reports numerous road and culvert washouts on
    secondary roads across the county. Travel is discouraged
    across Clark County.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are 
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded 
roads. Find an alternate route.
