...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 AM CST THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central, northern, and northwest Oklahoma, 
  including the following counties, in central Oklahoma, Kingfisher. 
  In northern Oklahoma, Garfield, Grant, Kay and Noble. In northwest 
  Oklahoma, Alfalfa and Major.

* WHEN...Until 730 AM CST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 425 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Enid, Waukomis, Pond Creek, Garber, Lahoma, Covington,
    Billings, Drummond, Lamont, Marshall, Kremlin, Goltry,
    Breckenridge, Jet, Nash, Hunter, Fairmont, Hillsdale, Carrier
    and Douglas.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
