...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM EDT EARLY THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of central Pennsylvania, including the following 
  counties, Cameron, Centre, Clinton, Elk, Lycoming, Potter and 
  Tioga.

* WHEN...Until 600 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 307 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall of 0.5 to 1.5 inches is expected over the
    area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Keating, Renovo, South Renovo, Force, Benezette, Kettle Creek
    State Park, Stevenson Dam, Tamarack, Westport, Hicks Run,
    Medix Run, Leetonia and Driftwood.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
