...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 945 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive 
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of southwest Arkansas, including the following 
  counties, Little River and southwestern Sevier, southeast 
  Oklahoma, including the following county, southeastern McCurtain, 
  and northeast Texas, including the following county, northern 
  Bowie.

* WHEN...Until 945 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Some low-water crossings may become impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 739 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    heavy showers. This will cause urban and small stream
    flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Ashdown, Horatio, Foreman, De Kalb, Wilton, Winthrop,
    Arkinda, Richmond, Haworth, Wallace, Tom, America, Arden,
    Moon, Bokhoma, Shinewell, Almont, Cerrogordo and Goodlake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law 
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National 
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
