...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following 
  county, Kimble.

* WHEN...Until 445 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 141 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.75 and 1.5 inches of
    rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Junction, South Llano River State Park, Segovia, Yates
    Crossing, Roosevelt and Cleo.
  - This includes Interstate 10 between Mile Markers 435 and 472.

    Park Road 73 crossing South Llano River, US HWY 377 crossing
    South Llano River, FM 2169 crossing Johnson Fork Creek, RM
    2291 crossings along Bear Creek, US HWY 377 crossing 2 miles
    North of Telegraph, County Road 430 crossing Johnson Fork,
    Old Segovia Rd. crossing Johnson Fork, KC 451 crossing
    Johnson Fork, crossings along County Road 410 and KC 314
    crossing Llano River.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
