...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 115 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of north central Texas, including the following 
  counties, Eastland, Erath, Hood, Palo Pinto, Parker and Stephens.

* WHEN...Until 115 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Overflowing poor-drainage areas. Some low-water crossings may 
  become impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Low
    lying and/or poor drainage areas will experience minor
    flooding in the advisory area. Additional rainfall amounts of
    1 to 2 inches are possible.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Fort Worth, Weatherford, Mineral Wells, Azle, Granbury,
    Eastland, Ranger, Briar, Willow Park, Reno, Aledo,
    Springtown, Brock, Hudson Oaks, Western Lake, Annetta,
    Gorman, Graford, Poolville and Gordon.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
