...FLOOD WARNING IS CANCELLED...

The Flood Warning is cancelled for portions of southwest North 
Carolina, including the following areas, Cherokee and Clay, east 
Tennessee, including the following areas, Blount, Carter, Claiborne, 
Cocke, Grainger, Greene, Hamblen, Hancock, Hawkins, Jefferson, 
Johnson, Knox, Loudon, Monroe, Polk, Sevier, Sullivan, Unicoi, Union 
and Washington, and southwest Virginia, including the following 
areas and independent cities, City of Bristol, City of Norton, Lee, 
Russell, Scott, Washington and Wise.

Heavy rains across much of the warned area have lessened in recent 
hours. As such, this was replaced with a smaller, targeted warning 
for just Smoky Mountains of east Tennessee.

A Flood Watch remains in effect until 200 PM EDT Friday for portions 
of southwest North Carolina and east Tennessee.
