...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1145 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive 
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of north central Wisconsin, including the 
  following counties, northeastern Lincoln and south central Oneida.

* WHEN...Until 1145 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 851 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause
    urban and small stream flooding. Overflowing poor drainage
    areas will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Between
    1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen since 7 PM this evening.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected
    over the area before thunderstorms end. This additional rain
    will result in minor flooding.

    Rhinelander and Crescent Corner.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.
