...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM AKDT THIS
MORNING...

* WHAT...South winds 40 to 50 mph with gusts of 65 mph expected.

* WHERE...Kuskokwim Delta.

* WHEN...Through 10 AM AKDT today.

* IMPACTS...High winds may move loose objects, damage property, 
  and cause power outages. Travel will be difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The powerful low that is impacting the
  region this morning has reached the Bering Strait. Expect winds
  to diminish slowly through the morning, with gusts up to 65 mph
  along the coast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People should avoid being outside in forested areas and around
trees and branches. If possible, remain in the lower levels of
your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Use caution if
you must drive.
