...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM PST SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Southwest winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 70 mph.

* WHERE...Eastern Sierra Slopes and Owens Valley.

* WHEN...Until 4 AM PST Sunday. After a minor lull this morning, 
  winds may peak again between 9 AM and 4 PM today before gradually 
  decreasing overnight.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. 
  Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be hazardous, 
  especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Downslope winds can create sudden gusts which 
  can result in particularly hazardous crosswinds for high profile 
  vehicles on sections of Highway 395 near the Sierra foothills in 
  the Owens Valley.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high 
profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Secure any loose objects or 
temporary structures.
