Temperatures have risen above 32 degrees across the area and freezing temperatures are no longer a threat. Most locations across western and north central Nebraska, experienced low temperatures in the middle to upper 20s overnight effectively ending the growing season across the area. Frost advisories and freeze warning products will be suspended in these areas until Spring 2025. Across Deuel, Keith, Perkins, Chase, Hayes and Frontier counties, temperatures overnight fell into the lower to middle 30s resulting in frost but no sub-freezing temperatures. In these areas, freeze warnings will continue to be issued until sub-freezing temperatures occur.
