...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1030 PM CDT
FOR NORTHWESTERN COLES...NORTHERN MOULTRIE...PIATT...WEST CENTRAL
VERMILION...CHAMPAIGN...DOUGLAS AND EAST CENTRAL MACON COUNTIES...

At 1013 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 7 miles north of Fithian to near Villa Grove to near
Arthur, moving east at 70 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile 
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

These severe storms will be near...
  Arcola, Homer, and Camargo around 1020 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include
Longview, Lake City, Dewey, Ludlow, Flatville, Royal, Chesterville,
Milmine, Cadwell, and La Place.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 57 between mile markers 203 and 257.
 Interstate 72 between mile markers 160 and 182.
 Interstate 74 between mile markers 168 and 197.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for central and
east central Illinois.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
