LACKAWANNA...WAYNE...NORTHEASTERN LUZERNE...NORTHWESTERN PIKE AND
EASTERN WYOMING COUNTIES...

At 730 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Lanesboro to Waymart to near Pittston, moving east at
45 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile 
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, Falls, Dunmore, Kingston, Plains, Carbondale,
Old Forge, Pittston, and Archbald.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
