* Special Marine Warning for...
  Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line 0-20 nm...
  Volusia-Brevard County Line to Sebastian Inlet 0-20 nm...

* Until 745 PM EDT.

* At 650 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
  waterspouts was located over Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge, or
  near Playalinda Beach, moving north at 15 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can can quickly form and capsize boats, 
           damage vessels and create locally hazardous seas. Make 
           sure all on board are wearing life jackets. Expect wind 
           gusts in excess of 34 knots, suddenly higher waves, 
           lightning and heavy downpours. Make sure all on board are 
           wearing life jackets. Return to safe harbor if possible.

* Locations impacted include...
  Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge, Haulover Canal, Apollo Beach,
  Eldora, and Oak Hill.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for east central
Florida...and the adjacent coastal waters.

Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily
overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor
immediately.
