The National Weather Service in Miami has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Central and Southern Biscayne Bay...

* Until 315 PM EDT.

* At 235 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing
  waterspouts were located along a line extending from 6 nm west of
  Coral Gables to near Barnes Sound, moving northeast at 20 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally 
           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly 
           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Convoy Point, Card Sound, Turkey Point, Key Biscayne, Biscayne Bay,
  Black Point, Coral Gables, and Cape Florida.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily
overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor
immediately.
