  Coastal Waters From James Island To Point Grenville Out 10 Nm...
  Waters From James Island To Point Grenville 10 To 60 Nm...

* Until 215 PM PST.

* At 151 PM PST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
  waterspouts was located 17 nm south of James Island, moving north
  at 35 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspout possible and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally 
           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly 
           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* The severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.

Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily
