...STRONG WINDS AND AREAS OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW CONTINUES 
IN THE MATANUSKA VALLEY THIS MORNING...

Northeast winds gusting 35 to 55 mph will persist across much of
the Matanuska Valley this morning, then gradually diminish during
the afternoon and evening hours. Expect areas of blowing and
drifting snow across area roadways. Stronger wind gusts could loft
the snow into the air at times, leading to reductions in visibility.
Those traveling along area roadways should drive with caution and
plan for extra travel time.
