Another round of snow and blowing snow will move into the region as an arctic low moves east from the Chukchi Sea this evening through Wednesday. This low will bring accumulating snow over several days, with accumulations of 3 to 5 inches for the Arctic Coast, and 4 to 8 inches for the Dalton Highway and Brooks Range. Winds will gust to around 45 mph from Point Thomson to Kaktovik Wednesday night and Thursday when blowing snow could cause significantly reduced visibility. $$
