...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT LOWNDES AND WEST CENTRAL
MONTGOMERY COUNTIES THROUGH 1000 PM CDT...

At 912 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Autauga County Airport to near Benton.
Movement was southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Southwestern Montgomery, Mosses, Hayneville, White Hall, Gordonville,
Lowndesboro, Benton, Hunter, Hyundai Motors Of Alabama, Beechwood,
Hope Hull, Woodcrest, Dannelly Field, Snowdoun, Pintlala, Calhoun,
Manack, and Letohatchee.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
central and south central Alabama.
