...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN ELMORE...WEST
CENTRAL TALLAPOOSA AND SOUTHEASTERN COOSA COUNTIES THROUGH 745 PM
CDT...

At 709 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Highway 9 and Highway 22, or near Equality, moving southeast at 35
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Alexander City, Dadeville, Rockford, Equality, Eclectic, Eastern Lake
Martin, Cottage Grove, Western Lake Martin, Highway 9 and Highway 22,
Nixburg, Southern Lake Martin, Kowaliga Bridge, Crewsville, Wind
Creek State Park, Northern Lake Martin, Fishpond, Susannah Crossing,
Maxwell Gunter Recreation Area, Ray, and Dare Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
