...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT APACHE COUNTY JUST EAST 
OF VERNON THROUGH 145 PM MST...

At 121 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Cerro Montoso Peak, or 18 miles west of Springerville, moving
northeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Cerro Montoso Peak.

This includes Highway 60 between mile markers 363 and 374.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
