...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHERN GILA COUNTY THROUGH 245 
PM MST...

At 220 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Pine to Kohls Ranch. Movement was southwest at
10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Horton Springs, Bear Flat, Mountain Meadows, Beaver Valley Estates,
Mesa Del Caballo, Water Wheel Falls, Ellison Creek Estates, Tonto
Village, Geronimo Estates, Freedom Acres, Strawberry, East Verde
Estates, Bonita Creek Estates, Whispering Pines, Star Valley, Flowing
Springs, Christopher Creek, Tonto Natural Bridge State Park, Tonto
Estate, and Ellison Creek Cascades.

This includes the following highways...
 State Route 260 between mile markers 254 and 276.
 State Route 87 between mile markers 254 and 272.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
