...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN LOS ANGELES COUNTY
THROUGH 315 PM PDT...

At 220 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong 
thunderstorms over the San Gabriels and the adjacent foothills of 
the Antelope Valley, extending from Acton to Big Pines. The storms 
were nearly stationary. .

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Wrightwood...
Palmdale...
Pearblossom...
Llano...
Littlerock...
Lake Palmdale...
Valyermo...
Falling Springs...
Big Pines...
Angeles Crest Highway between Mount Waterman
and Wrightwood...
and Highway 138 between Llano and the San Bernardino County line.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Locally heavy rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. New fire
starts are possible. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
