...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of Nez Perce, Lewis,
Garfield, southeastern Whitman and central Asotin Counties through
815 PM PDT...

At 749 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles south of Pomeroy to
near Lewiston to near Craigmont. Movement was north at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Winds up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Localized visibility reductions due to 
         blowing dust may also accompany the gust front with this 
         line of storms.

Locations impacted include...
Lewiston, Clarkston, Lapwai, Pomeroy, Craigmont, Nezperce, Culdesac,
Winchester, Clarkston Heights-Vineland, West Clarkston-Highland,
Asotin, Uniontown, Peck, Reubens, Mohler, Spalding, Dodge, Waha,
Gifford, and Clarkston Heights.

This includes the following highways...
 U.S. Highway 95 in Idaho near Lewiston.
 U.S. Highway 12 between Pomeroy, Lewiston and Orofino

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
