...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT EASTERN THOMAS...EASTERN LOGAN...
SHERIDAN AND GOVE COUNTIES THROUGH 345 AM CDT...

At 257 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking showers and thunderstorms 
along a line extending from 12 miles northwest of Gem to 7 miles 
southeast of Colby to 5 miles southeast of Monument to 11 miles 
north of Scott State Lake to 3 miles northeast of Modoc. Movement 
was northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 55 mph.

SOURCE...These showers and storms have a history of producing 45 to 
         55 mph wind gusts.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Sudden strong winds and abrupt 
         reductions in visibility associated with heavy rain will 
         create hazardous travel conditions. This includes the 
         Interstate 70 corridor between Oakley and Quinter.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Oakley and Gem around 300 AM CDT.
  Rexford and Menlo around 310 AM CDT.
  Grinnell around 315 AM CDT.

Other locations in the path of these storms include Selden, Hoxie,
Grainfield, Gove and Park.

This includes Interstate 70 in Kansas between mile markers 58 and
112.
