...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN LUCE COUNTY THROUGH
1215 AM EDT...

At 1152 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles south of Muskallonge State Park, or 15 miles north of Newberry,
moving northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Muskallonge State Park, Pine Stump Junction, Betsy Lake, Deer Park,
and Crisp Point.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
this storm passes.
