...MINOR FLOODING EXPECTED...

Thunderstorms with heavy rain will cause minor flooding in the
following counties...

Yellow Medicine...

* Until 1000 PM CDT.

* At 826 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding. Overflow of water
  will result in minor flooding of poor drainage locations in the
  area. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen.

* Some locations that will experience minor flooding include...
  Canby, Porter, Spring Creek, and St. Leo.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.
