Mountain snow and a mix of rain and snow at lower elevations will continue across southwest Montana over the next few hours. A period of moderate wet snowfall may impact the morning commute in the Bozeman area between 5 AM and 8 AM, particularly for those traveling east over Bozeman pass or south towards Big Sky. Reduced visibility and brief accumulation of slush on road surfaces are the main concern in these areas. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches are expected in the mountains of Gallatin, Madison and Beaverhead counties, with 1 to 2 inches over mountain passes and one inch or less at lower elevations, including Dillon, Ennis and Bozeman. $$
