...LOCALLY DENSE FOG OVER PARTS OF THE SOUTHERN PIEDMONT OF 
NORTH CAROLINA AND THE EASTERN PIEDMONT OF SOUTH CAROLINA...

Patchy dense fog has developed across the area from Gaffney and
Union to Chester, Rock Hill, Gastonia, and the southwest side of
metro Charlotte. Visiblity can suddenly be reduced to under one- 
quarter mile when encountering a fog bank, causing hazardous 
driving conditions. Motorists traveling in the area this morning
are urged to slow down, leave plenty of space between vehicles, 
and use low-beam headlights in fog. The fog should lift by 9 am.
