Rain and snow will continue to gradually move into northwest North Dakota early this morning. A wintry mix is expected to change to all snow over northwest North Dakota, with snow spreading slowly east through the day. In general, snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are possible. This includes the cities of Crosby, Williston, Watford City, Tioga, Stanley, Bowbells, Sherwood, Kenmare and Bottineau. Heavier snow bands are possible with this system, and could result in locally higher amounts up to 5 inches. Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, may become slick and could become partially snow covered and slushy at times in heavier snow bands. Slow down, use caution and allow extra time for travel. $$
