...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL RIO ARRIBA COUNTY 
UNTIL 515 PM MDT...

At 435 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near 
Tierra Amarilla, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Chama, Tierra Amarilla, Brazos, Ensenada, El Vado Lake State Park, 
  Los Ojos, Rutheron and La Puente.

This includes Highway 64 between Mile Markers 149 and 180.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening 
weather conditions.

Motorists can expect brief but sudden changes in visibility and 
ponding of water on roadways as storms move through the area.
