BERNALILLO...WEST CENTRAL TORRANCE AND SOUTH CENTRAL SANDOVAL 
COUNTIES UNTIL 11 AM MDT...

At 1016 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong 
thunderstorms from 16 miles west of South Valley to near Meadow 
Lake, moving north at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Albuquerque, southern Rio Rancho, Los Lunas, Belen, Valencia, 
  Corrales, Los Ranchos De Albuquerque, Bosque Farms, Tijeras and 
  South Valley.

This includes the following highways...
	Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 135 and 181.
	Interstate 25 between Mile Markers 196 and 238.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. 
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe 
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

Accumulations of small hail on roads can create very slick and 
hazardous driving conditions.
