...LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN ROOSEVELT 
AND EAST CENTRAL CHAVES COUNTIES UNTIL 615 AM MDT...

At 532 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong 
thunderstorms from 13 miles southwest of Pep to 24 miles south of 
Elkins, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Dora, Causey, Milnesand, Pep, Lingo and Rogers.

This includes Highway 380 between Mile Markers 179 and 200.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening 
weather conditions.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio 
stations and available television stations for additional 
information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead 
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded 
roadways.
