...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN OTERO AND EAST
CENTRAL DONA ANA COUNTIES THROUGH 645 PM MDT...

At 609 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles northeast of Berino, moving northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Chaparral, White Sands Missile Range Headquarters, and High Valley.

This includes Highway 70 in New Mexico between mile markers 173 and
177.
