...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN OTERO COUNTY
THROUGH 815 PM MDT...

At 737 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles northeast of Orogrande, moving northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Timberon, Oliver Lee State Park, and The Otero Mesa.

This includes Highway 54 in New Mexico between mile markers 32 and
45.
