...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL NYE COUNTY THROUGH
530 PM PDT...

At 457 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 16
miles east of Round Mountain, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Heavy rainfall along with gusty winds could knock down tree 
         limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage 
         to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Monitor Valley and Table Mountain.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
