...ELEVATED RISK FOR FIRE SPREAD TODAY...

The combination of recent dry weather, west to northwesterly winds 
gusting 20 to 35 mph and minimum relative humidity values between 35 
and 50 percent will contribute to an elevated risk of fire spread
today. This includes portions of the southern Adirondacks, Mohawk
Valley, Upper Hudson Valley, Capital District, eastern Catskills,
Taconics, and Mid-Hudson Valley.
