...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southeastern
Douglas, northeastern Jackson and west central Klamath Counties
through 315 PM PDT
...

At 229 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Highway 62 Near Crater Lake, or 8 miles southwest of Crater Lake,
moving north at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Portions of the Diamond Complex, Crater Lake, Crater Lake National 
Park, Crater Lake Lodge, Highway 138 Diamond Lake Summit, Thousand 
Springs Sno-Park, Broken Arrow Campground, Clearwater Falls 
Recreation Site, Whitehorse Falls Recreation Site, Union Creek, 
Diamond Lake, Highway 62 Near Crater Lake, Thielsen View Campground, 
Rogue Gorge, Prospect, and Natural Bridge Campground.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Firefighters on the Diamond Complex should seek information from 
their incident meteorologist and safety officer.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM PDT for
southwestern Oregon.
