...ELEVATED RISK FOR FIRE SPREAD UNTIL THIS EVENING...

Recent dry weather with minimum relative humidity values between 
25 and 35 percent this afternoon are expected. Dry fuels will 
contribute to an elevated risk of fire spread for portions of 
Northeast Pennsylvania, including the Poconos. The worst 
combination of weather conditions will occur this afternoon, with 
winds diminishing later in the afternoon.

Any outdoor burning is strongly discouraged, and burn bans are in
effect for parts of the area. Use extra caution if handling any 
potential ignition sources, such as machinery or matches, and 
ensure to properly extinguish or dispose cigarette butts. Refer to
your state's forest fire management agency for more information 
on burn restrictions in your local area.
