...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN ANDERSON...SOUTHERN
CAMPBELL AND SOUTHEASTERN SCOTT COUNTIES THROUGH 1000 PM EDT...

At 931 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles southeast of Huntsville, or 13 miles west of La Follette,
moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
La Follette, Jacksboro, Huntsville, Caryville, Rocky Top, Norris,
Norris Dam State Park, Smokey Junction, Andersonville, and Disney.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
