...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN LOUDON AND CENTRAL
BLOUNT COUNTIES THROUGH 1230 AM EDT...

At 1202 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles west of Maryville, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Maryville, Alcoa, Eagleton Village, Greenback, Friendsville, and
Clover Hill.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
