NORTHEASTERN MCMINN...SOUTHERN BLOUNT AND MONROE COUNTIES THROUGH
1215 AM EDT...

At 1145 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms over Madisonville, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Athens, Sweetwater, Loudon, Madisonville, Smoky Mountains-Twentymile
Creek, Smoky Mountains-Fontana Area, Englewood, Vonore, Greenback,
and Niota.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
