...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT MARION COUNTY THROUGH 1245 AM
EDT/1145 PM CDT/...

At 1208 AM EDT/1108 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of
strong thunderstorms near Jasper, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Chattanooga, Jasper, Signal Mountain, South Pittsburg, Kimball, Orme,
Fiery Gizzard State Park, Sequatchie Cave, Foster Falls State Park,
and Haletown (guild).

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
