Another freeze is possible Monday morning. The most favored areas for a light to possibly hard freeze include northern Lea County and the higher elevations of the Guadalupe and Davis Mountains. Elsewhere, a light freeze is expected in Hobbs, Seminole, Lamesa, Pine Springs, Marfa, Alpine, and Fort Davis. In addition, there is the possibility of snow or a rain and snow mix early Monday morning. The most favored areas for snow include the Western Low Rolling Plains and parts of Southeast New Mexico and the Permian Basin. Mostly little to no accumulations are expected, however there could be a narrow swath with around an inch in grassy areas across parts of the Permian Basin.
